Travel Mossel Bay is a fun event for tourism products and the travel trade, but it also really works for all involved. Tour operators from Cape Town, local exhibitors, a service training session for the restaurants and accommodation establishments in the area, a session on sustainable/responsible tourism and a local produce cocktail party giving out awards to local tourism achievers. Definitely a recipe for success.

The cocktail party that evening had a great vibe – held in the venue for the workshop the next day those who had delicious dips and local olive oil and cheeses to share were there. Most memorable for me were the chocolate dipped strawberries.

Travel Mossel Bay was a great venue for us to launch the second edition of The Garden Route Guide. Somewhere in the photos is one of me standing with the new edition on the table we shared with the Francois Ferreira Academy at Travel Mossel Bay.
